Sacred Geometry and Space Structure

What is Sacred Geometry? Why is it important? Is this real? Where can I see this in action?

In ancient times, when we were more in touch with nature we seemed to understand the significance and importance of the shapes, geometry and patterns found in the natural world.

Sacred Geometry is used across the world usually to explain how there is a higher being that has a hand in forming everything we see and experience.

Sacred Geometric Symbols adorn religious centers across the world and in some cases the geometry is used to create the buildings themselves in the design.

It has it’s root in the study of nature itself. There are 5 platonic solids. Tetrahedron, Octahedron, Hexahedron, Icosahedron and the Dodecahedron. These have 4, 68, 6, 20 and 12 faces respectively. These are also said to each represent an element, Earth, Air, Fire, Water and Either. All of these shapes are proportioned with the Golden Ratio

Flower of Life

Artwork depicting this geometry (shown left) can be found in the temple of Osiris at Abydos in Egypt from at least 6000 years ago. This particular design is called the Flower of Life and is said to represent life and creation itself. We can find this design in everything from the structure of DNA, Cell division as well as plant structure.

There are many stages to the flower of life including the seed, egg, fruit of life and Metatron’s Cube. (below)

This design can also be found in the workings of Leonardo Davinci, He studied this form and all of its mathematical properties. Leonardo also studied other forms of the sacred geometry such as the platonic solids, spheres, torus, golden ratio and phi.

Pentagram

The Pentagram is also a sacred geometry and no it is not a sign of the devil. It has been used for centuries and was once used by Christians to represent the five wounds of Christ. Many today will recognize it as a symbol of protection. This symbol also has the Golden Ratio in its design.

The Golden Ratio

This is also known as the Golden Mean and shown here Ψ as the Greek letter phi (which is mathematically represented by the number 1.618). This can be easily envisioned by creating a rectangle. Draw one side of the box 1” and then the second side at the 1.618”. Many buildings around the world can be found to have the phi in their construction, such as the Pantheon in Greece.

The Golden Ratio can be looked at as a mathematical explanation for symmetry in nature. This can also be found in the Fibonacci Sequence. The Fibonacci Sequence can be found by starting with any number such as zero, and adding another number to it 1, here we would get 1, then adding the previous two numbers together, this would be 2. Keep adding the previous two numbers, so on and so on. This will look something like this 0, 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34… Now if we divide two of the numbers in the sequence, it will come close to the golden ratio. The larger the numeric value of the Fibonacci sequence the closer you will get to the golden ratio.

Unified Field Theory

There is a controversial theory of a Unified Field Theory Model, this hypothesizes the universe and all of existence is made up of a unified field and is comprised of a geometric shape (64 overlapping platonic solids), a grid overlaying the entire universe, making up everything we see, feel, hear and experience. This could conceivably be the structure of what one might refer to as the holographic universe.

Fractals

Fractals are a geometric pattern that continues on forever in both directions (inwards and outwards) forever. Infinite as the universe. This can be helpful in imagining our reality.

Structure of the Universe

Now lets put it all together, think of Nassim Harameins model of the 64 Tetrahedron grid. Consisting of Platonic solids, overlapping like a grid, which has exactly the same points as the flower of life. fractal-ing on forever in both directions, zooming in to the smallest conceivable molecule in the palm of your hand. Or the largest galaxy in our universe and beyond. So everything in the known universe all existing because of this simple pattern., a simplified geometric shape of the universe if you will, pixels like in your computer.
